We have some wonderful pieces in our collection. Some items are 70+ years old. This is quite remarkable when you consider the "throw away" society in which we now live.

There was a time, in the not so distant past, when people bought and kept their possessions throughout their lives. They took good care of their personal belongings and handed them down to the next generation.

These are the types of products you will see here at Silver Screen Vintage. We only sell items that are in very good to excellent condition, with minimal flaws or issues.

Having said that, please understand that vintage items do not always look brand new. We are accustomed to seeing factory made items, displayed at our local malls, and favorite department stores. The items of today are crisp, fresh, newly packaged, and perfect.

Vintage items have had a past life. In some instances, a life far longer than the average buyer of vintage items. These older treasures are not crisp and brand new. While they could be in very good and excellent condition, they do not look new. Fibers break down over time. Age is what makes these items desirable and rare. The craftsmanship is many times superior to what we see today. But, the fact remains, these items have been previously used and loved. They are waiting for a new home and for you to cherish them for future generations.
